So that’s what we think Rob Zombie’s Halloween 3 would have looked like.From the makers of SHARK FINGERS! and FISH FINGERS! Michael and Laurie are killed in the process, leaving Brackett all alone with his ghosts – which include old and young Michael, Laurie, his daughter Annie, and hell let’s even throw in Sheri Moon Zombie’s Mama Myers and white pet horse while we’re at it. Brackett then kidnaps him and forces him to act as bait to bring Laurie and Michael home for one final Halloween… In the end, Michael kills Loomis (for good this time), and Laurie would turn good again to rescue Brackett from Michael. Once Brackett uncovers this plan, he tells the powers that be and Loomis is released. If it weren’t obvious, Loomis orchestrated the whole thing. The assistant took a big payday – to the tune of Loomis’ life savings – to fake her death and helped frame Loomis for it. Eventually, Brackett does some digging and finds out that Loomis murdering his assistant was all a ruse. Speaking of Loomis, in this third film he acts as a cameo throughout most of the film, giving Brackett Silence of the Lambs Hannibal Lecter-style clues about how Michael and Laurie’s minds function and where they might be. The two then set out to kill Loomis for good and always. So Laurie is now released and – go figure – breaks Michael out as well. He did this by killing his old assistant, and he did this because he now believes that the only way to protect himself from Michael (and Laurie’s) eventual escape/release is to be locked deep behind bars. Michael is back to being catatonic in Smith’s Grove like in Zombie’s original Halloween, along with Laurie, and Loomis has gotten himself locked up in maximum security prison. Before that happens though, we see Brackett has been visiting Michael and Loomis in the years since as well. Brackett doesn’t buy it, but others do and let Laurie go. Laurie Strode has been locked up in a mental hospital since she went crazy and all Michael Myers-evil after the events of the second film – but here’s the kicker – in the years since Laurie has gone back to acting normal. It turns out Brackett has retired and taken up Laurie, Michael, and Loomis as hobbies since Halloween II. What about the others that survived Zombie’s first two films? More specifically, what has Brad Dourif’s Sheriff Brackett been up to for the past ten years? Now that we know Zombie would bring back Michael, Laurie, and Loomis, what have they been up to since the finale of Halloween II? It’s been almost ten years since that film hit screens back in 2009 so let’s go ahead and say this sequel opens ten years after that movie. Simple fact: It’s not a stretch to think he would have just hit the reset button, given Loomis, Laurie, and Michael a new set of scars, and went about closing out his trilogy. So with all of this and that spat, let’s get into the meat of this here article. Especially Halloween II, which I consider to be one of the best horror films of the past decade. But part of our minds can’t help but wonder what would have happened had Blumhouse not snagged up the rights to Michael Myers and Halloween and if Rob Zombie decided to make a third entry in his Halloweenseries instead of Three From Hell.Īnd thus we came up with this article: What Would Rob Zombie’s Halloween 3 Look Like? Elsewhere in the horror universe, writer-director Rob Zombie is currently editing the third entry in his Firefly Family series House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects with Three From Hell. Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode, and she does so armed with a screenplay written by Danny McBride and David Gordon Green and helmed by Green. As we all know, Blumhouse’s sequel to John Carpenter’s Halloweenhit theaters today.
